Pre & Post Care

Pre-Care Recommendations:

1. Exfoliate 48 hours before your Sugaring Appointment:

- Exfoliating 48 hours in advance helps to remove dead skin cells and allows for better hair removal during the appointment.

2. Hair length should be 1/8th inch (about the size of a grain of rice):

- Longer hair is also suitable for the appointment, so there's no need to worry if your hair is  longer than the recommended length.

3. Stop shaving 12-14 days prior to your appointment:

- It is important to refrain from shaving for at least 12-14 days before your appointment to ensure that the hair is long enough for effective removal.

4. Avoid using deodorant, lotion, or oils on the day of your appointment:

- To ensure the smoothest results, it is best to avoid using any products that may interfere with the connection of  Sugaring process. This includes deodorant, lotion, or oils on the day of your appointment.

5. Practice proper hygiene before your appointment:

- It is recommended to politely use the baby wipes provided to clean from front to back before your appointment. This will help maintain cleanliness and prevent any potential infections. Additionally, it is advisable to shower after any physical activity and come to your appointment with clean skin, if possible, for a more hygienic and comfortable experience during the Sugaring appointment.

-Post-Care Recommendations:

1. Wait 24-48 hours before:

- Using hot tubs or pools

- Engaging in intense workouts

- Experiencing friction or rubbing on the treated area

- Wearing tight clothing

2. Exfoliate every other day (after waiting 24-48 hours):

- Use sugar scrubs, exfoliating mitts, or salicylic scrubs to gently remove dead skin cells and promote healthy hair growth.

3. Moisturize daily:

- Apply lotion or oils regularly to keep the skin soft and facilitate proper hair growth.

4. Choose comfortable clothing:

- Opt for loose-fitting clothing and cotton underwear to prevent ingrown hairs and minimize irritation.

By following these pre and post sugaring care guidelines, you can ensure the best results and maintain smooth, healthy skin after hair removal.
